6m vs 12m Pipe Laser Cutter: Choosing the Tube Length Class

Maximum tube length splits the four WISECUT tube machines into two classes. Here they are at the same scale, with what else changes between them.

BThe 6.0 m class

  • WT-6023T: tubes up to 6.0 m, two chucks, 3–6 kW.
  • WT-3015PT: tubes up to 6000 mm, Φ20–220 mm, and flat sheet up to 3050 × 1550 mm on the same machine, 3–12 kW.

CThe 12 m class

  • WT-6035T: tubes up to 12 m, three chucks, 3–12 kW, bevel cuts and semi-automatic loading.
  • WT-12035T: tubes up to 12 m, four chucks, 3–20 kW.

DCheck your own tube first

  • The longest tube you actually load, and whether it arrives as stock length or pre-cut.
  • The longest finished part, which can be much shorter than the tube.
  • Whether the same machine must also cut flat sheet; if so, the WT-3015PT is the sheet-and-tube machine.
  • Your workshop length: the datasheet shows the website template footprint and weight; ask for the installation drawing before you decide.
